AIEAN is committed to promoting standards, ethics and codes of conduct

by educational agents and institutions in the recruitment

of international students into Australia

 

1.        Liaise and work with governments on regulatory and legislative issues which may affect and impact on Australia’s international education industry and the recruitment of international students into Australia ;

2.        Review and comment on  current and proposed government legislation such as the ESOS Act 2002;

3.        Monitor and support domestic education export activities, policies and practices of Australian educational institutions;

4.        Apply a Code of Conduct for international educational agents and recruitig institutions;

5.        Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, issues, and developments between our members and the international education industry, in particular Australian education providers;

6.        Conduct regular Research and Surveys concerning the international education recruitment industry;

7.        Organise national and regional seminars, workshops and conferences for members with regard to the international education recruitment industry;

8.        Publish a regular E-newsletter and a yearly Journal
